I am becoming increasingly frustrated by the fact that keyboards do not have a “does not equal” sign. I use this frequently in my own version of short hand and cannot understand why I can’t type it. Thus this is my official proposal to get rid of the “^” sign and replace it with the aforementioned one. Who even uses “^”? Answer: no one.
I do! It’s a great short hand for exponents, especially if you’re not using Word and there’s not autoformatting to superscript. I’d rather get right of “`.” I don’t eve know what that sign means…
